Buy or rent?

The news about mortgages is dominating the property pages at present, which in turn is putting pressure on the London lettings market, writes Clive Scrivener, Founder & Partner at Wimbledon based Chartered Surveyors Scrivener Tibbatts.

London always gets busier as we head into summer, and this summer is shaping up to be an especially busy one. Foxton’s report on May’s lettings market shows, despite a 22% increase in new listings, renter demand is already easily outstripping supply. Here’s their latest interesting report:
